Allegra Willis Knerr promoted to steer BMG World Synch Licensing


Allegra Willis Knerr has been promoted to steer the World Synch Licensing staff at BMG.

Beforehand serving as Los Angeles-based SVP, Synch Licensing, Willis Knerr will now be liable for overseeing and supporting BMG’s world synch licensing enterprise.

She is going to report on to Dominique Casimir, EVP World Repertoire & Advertising Europe, LatAm and Apac, who took on the function in 2020.

Allegra Willis Knerr continues to work alongside Jonathan Palmer, BMG SVP, Inventive Synch within the US.

BMG says the brand new construction will “permit better give attention to the 2 key disciplines of BMG’s World Synch staff, Inventive and Licensing, in an effort to drive development.”

Willis Knerr will now information and help all licensing initiatives and insurance policies throughout BMG in North America and now worldwide.


Willis Knerr joined Bug Music in 2009, previous to BMG’s acquisition in 2011.

She was promoted to Director and co-head, Movie & TV Licensing in 2013 and Sr. Director, Movie & TV Licensing in 2015.

In 2020, she was promoted to SVP, Synch Licensing, liable for overseeing the day-to-day operations and course of BMG’s US and Canada based mostly synch licensing enterprise.
